Oh how often we live in with a mindset that we will try all that is humanly possible before we commit it to the Lord in prayer. Perhaps our reason may be that we do not want to disturb God over what may be solved with human wisdom. Sometimes we maybe a bit proud and not want any help. Or we may just simply forget and only when we are really in a pickle with no other possible solution we turn to the Lord as a last resort.

I must say that this happens to me a lot when I attempt to repair things from our vehicle to our tumble dryer. I start out all gung ho only to be humbled when I can’t. Sadly it is only then that I ask God to give me direction and wisdom. I should really do that right at the start!

This morning we said goodbye to the ladies as they started their journey home. We do pray that they will put feet to the theory that they have learnt. Mothers and wives are very influential in the home and it has been stated that they determine the mood in the home. May these ladies be Godly examples in their homes.

I will have another wonderful opportunity to preach at our local Church on Sunday. may the Lord use His Word to lead us further along the road of sanctification. God bless!
